New Channel started broadcasting on the On 15th of July, 1998. Today New Channel is aired nationwide.

New Channel  is an entertaining and informative channel with 24 hours broadcasting. It has 96% of technical coverage. The Channel broadcasts for 2/3 of each region’s population on the Ukrainian territory.  The main languages are Ukrainian and Russian.
 
New Channel retransmits the signal by means of cable and satellite.

New Channel is aimed at young, energetic, payable viewers.

Based on the results of 2006, New Channel is one of the three top rated channels for the specific audience ranging from 4+ to 14-49.

Our product:
The most successful and popular programmes of New Channel are the programmes of its own production. Their combined share of whole time equals to 1/3. Among the programmes of its own production are the following:

• "Podjem" (“wake-up” show) – morning programme, which brings viewers vivacity and good mood.
• "Reporter" - news programme.
• "Svadba za 48 chasov" (“wedding in 48 hours”). This show is based on the famous analogue programme of Sony Pictures "48 Hours Wedding". During one year of its existence the shooting team of “Wedding…” had married about 40 couples!
• "Eksklusiv" (The Exclusive). This is an “infotainment” programme. The hostess presents unusual records, fun stories and the latest events from the life of famous people.
• "Allo, garage!" (“Hello, garage!”) The host presents the most unusual and modern variants of car tuning.  
• "Jertva mody" (“Fashion victim”). Talented, young Ukrainian designer changes the style of various passers-by. The designer recreates the image of well-known people. 
• "Showmania" (“Showmania”). The hostess knows everything about show-business, because she is the most glaring example of it! 
• "Vlastelin gory' (“The lord of the mountain”) (it’s part of original programme "Intercities"). The result of two channels’ cooperation (New Channel – from Ukrainian part and The First – from Russian) was the appearance of new extreme show “Vlastelin gory”. The star-participants had a hard time in the Alpes. They took part in difficult and even dangerous competitions.
• "Ulyotna Vidpustka" (Cool Vacation) - infotainment program, with travelling direction. Prominent persons of Ukrainian and Russian showbusiness present fascinating stories about the time they`ve spent in one of the countries, to which "Aerosvit" company  takеs flights.
• "Vyschyy pilotazh" (High Flying) - program devoted to the Worldwide known Red Bull Air Race - an exciting competition in which the world's most talented pilots are up against each other in a race based on speed, precision and skill.  Famoust showbusiness stars and "Novy Kanal"`s team discovers the worldwide cities and sights connected to the Red Bull Air Race. 

New Channel also deals with social projects: fourth year in a row it holds the ceremony “Pride of Ukraine” , which is an analogue of the English TV project "Pride of Britain awards". The award “Pride of Ukraine” is conferred to people, who surprised us with willpower, courage and bravery.

The heroes are honoured in such nominations as “Sense of duty”, “Rare talent”, “Will-power”, etc. They get the prize from the most well-known people of Ukraine – famous sportsmen, artists, politicians and even from the First Lady of the country. The cofounders of this award are New Channel, “Facts” newspaper and Viktor Pinchuk’s Foundation.
